CORA Physical Therapy Pembroke

"I've just completed three months of physical therapy at the Pembroke location for my injured shoulder. I feel that each of the therapists, techs, and assistants, at this location did a great job helping me to gain more range of motion as well as showing me ways to complete tasks safely without reinjuring my shoulder. I started out with Chad, Heather, and Marty. All three were professional and helped me do my required exercises by showing me the correct way, answering any questions, and encouraging me along the way. I did receive treatment from an occasional floater but they helped me in the first few months. I also was assisted by Jon Michael, who is a Physical Therapy Assistant. He was by far my favorite! He is so kind and helpful and he was the first one to try massaging the area to help loosen my muscles in that shoulder. It was a little painful but the end result gave me much relief from the constant ache as well as more ROM. He was the last one I saw on my ending visit and like usual, he had a positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and helpful advice for keeping me moving forward in my recovery. Like he says, " You want it to be a good hurt". Nothing sharp or extremely painful. I would recommend Cora PT to others, if needed. I have witnessed others coming in and being helped by these dedicated employees. Thank you to all who helped me get much further ahead in gaining full use of my shoulder."

"The entire staff has made my experience delightful. Having an above knee amputation has not been easy, but with the nice friendly staff at the Pembroke office it’s been enjoyable yet demanding. They are always very thoughtful and caring. They have been working with me prior to receiving my prosthetic, to ensure my strength and flexibility were adequate, which has made my transition to walking with a cane easier. "If I could give this location 10 stars I would!!! This is my experience for the first time ever doing physical therapy and based on a single month of visits at this location. The Front desk clerk, Cori, is always caring, and willing to help everyone that I’ve witnessed speaking with her as well as very personable and professional. There have been times when I was scheduled to have therapy 2 days in a row and I expressed that I was unsure if I could do so due to pain, she was flexible with me and suggested anytime I feel the need to call in and reschedule she would work with me (not all healthcare offices will do this and I’m sure if I abused the offices flexibility I would no longer have this option ofc). I mainly work with Jeremy as my physical therapist. He is AMAZING! He is super personable, friendly, great sense of humor, professional, passionate, intelligent, full of knowledge, caring, outgoing, expressive, he will go out of his way to explain things to you so that you understand what exactly is going on with your personal physical problem (for lack of better words), he will physically show you how to do the exercises and explain what and why muscles are doing what they are doing and why particular exercises help your physical problem. In my personal physical problem I had no accident to cause my injury. I went in with pain in my upper trap muscle that I had been ignoring and letting slide for at least 10 years. Long story shortened, my issue is a puzzle. Jeremy was excited for the challenge and for a month now has stayed determined to help me solve it and recover. He has helped me come a long way in the past month of seeing him twice a week. I went in with constant pain and muscle spasm in my upper trap, within a month he has helped my pain level go from a normal 8-10 range down to a 3-5 range on a 1-10 pain scale. There have been times that I’ve worked with a couple other therapist while Jeremy had to be at a different location. Another PT that stands out to me is Heather. She is just as AMAZING as Jeremy in similar ways but ofc individually. She is personable, outgoing, bubbly, intelligent, caring, expressive, professional, easy going, great sense of humor, and works as a team even in Jeremy’s absence. The entire staff make you feel like you matter and you are home away from home. Also, that there is hope in recovery. Even though physical therapy has been rough in the pain department, I ALWAYS look forward to my sessions and time with the staff at this location! 100/10 recommended!!!"

"Ive been going to Cora Pembroke on and off for about a year now (for different events). And the staff is super helpful and friendly. The instructions given are simple and clear enough where i can take them home and do them myself. The staff creates a fun atmosphere that is very encouraging and inviting and makes you want to come back to physical therapy."
