"Rural King associate was out side with leaf blower blowing dirt, debris all over customer vehicles. I mentioned the issue to the associate but he continued with any consideration of customers vehicles"

"My husband went in there today for help with purchasing some fence panels and other items. He came home and just bragged on the employees at the Warrenton store and how helpful they were, especially one of the managers. Great customer service seems to be in short supply these days, and we wish we could give more than 5 stars. Between the great stock they carry, fair pricing and excellent service, this is where we choose to shop!"

"What has happened to customer service these days! I recently recieved an add telling me that an item that I had been looking at was on sale and available for pick up. This was CGI roadtrip rocker outdoor folding chair. After going to Rural Kings web site, I found that the item I wanted was not available at my local store. I switched stores to try and find the item in stock. I found that the store that was about 40 minutes away claimed to have the item. I have not used there web site before to place orders but, I have used plenty of others and decided to give it a shot. I placed my order and received an email confirming that the order was received. I also check my credit card site and confirmed that the card had been charged for the items. I thought that this was a little unusual given there was no mention on the email to wait for a "order ready" confirmation. I the proceeded to drive to the store to pick up my items. Upon arrival at the service desk the clerk informed me that they did not receive the order. I showed her the email confirming the order and ask if we could proceed with the exchange. After several minutes of confusion and back and forth between her and the store manager, they proceeded to go and see if they could fill the order from stock on the floor. After another several minutes, I was informed that there was no stock and they could not fill the order and that they would have to cancel it. I said that I was going to be a couple of hours and about $20 in gas into this transaction at this point and I really hoped that there might be another way to complete my order. Maybe they could place the order online and wave the delivery charge? They said that there was no way for them to do that and once the order hit their system, they would have no choice but to cancel it! I ask when they might get another shipment in? They said that they receive delivery's three days a week and had no way of knowing what was going to be delivered. They expected a truck that day. I ask, could you not cancel my order until the truck was unloaded and they knew that there where no items that I wanted on the delivery. Again, they said that when the order hit the system, and no stock was shown to be in the store, the order would be canceled. I left after I realized that no other solutions were going to be offered. I indeed received an email telling me that the order had been canceled. I reached out to the company via the contact info for customer service in the email. I immediately received another email informing me that my request had be received and that they would get back to me as soon as possible. Several hours later, I received another email me informing me that my request had be closed. No other info or comment in the email. I responded asking if there was any resolution or information that could be shared with me? Again, several hours later, I received a message that my request had been closed. Bottom line, I truly feel like they did nothing to try and satisfy me as a customer and are perfectly happy with turning customers away! I truly hope that stores can maintain brick and Mortar operations but, it sure seems like they are trying their best to force the customers to go to Amazon for everything! I'm tied of fighting this battle and find myself buying more and more from them and just have the items show up at my door with no hassles! All I can say is "Good Luck" maintaining this business model because I for one am going to order more from the company's that meet my needs with the fewest hassles! Your store is now on my "try my best not to use " list! I'm sure given all of the conversations that I have had with friends and relatives, I'm not the only one!!!!!!! You get NO recommendations from me!"

"The staff at this store are NOT friendly in any way. I go in there often and have never had a friendly welcoming encounter with a staff member. ALSO huge problem with the fact that they can't assign someone to do rounds on the chicks every 15 minutes to make sure the dead ones are removed. Who wants to see dead baby ducks and chicks. Love what they sell though."

"Huge clean store. Really impressed with the chicken, duck, and turkey selection; all bins were labeled as to which birds were there along with some information about the birds. Not all Rural Kings do this."
