Dr. Rachel Burke Glass brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our practice. Originally from Gainesville, GA, she completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Cellular Biology at the University of Georgia. She pursued her medical education at the Georgia Campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, where she developed a keen interest in rural medicine and was honored with the Primary Care Award. Her residency at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, where she served as Chief Resident, further honed her skills and dedication to pediatrics. Since 2012, Dr. Glass has been proudly serving the Alma community, with special interests in breastfeeding education, nutrition, and exercise.
Joining Dr. Glass is Mimi, our skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Mimi holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing, Child Health, from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Thomas University. Her diverse background includes experience in Emergency Nursing, Geriatric Care, and Psychiatric Care of children and adolescents, particularly those with eating disorders. Mimi is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and is dedicated to providing high-quality care to our young patients.
At Rachel Burke Glass, we believe in a holistic approach to pediatric health, emphasizing both preventive care and education. We are dedicated to supporting families in raising healthy, happy children. Outside of the office, Dr. Glass enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, David, and their children. Mimi, originally from Madison, FL, also enjoys traveling and cherishes moments with friends and family.
