"Visited. Cape Girardeau Airport Friday June 14 with my Grand children for a tour. We met Audrey Lorch for a fun visit. Learned many fun facts about our busy airport. Audrey was especially attentive to our young Grands mentioning all the job opportunities for young men and women. We enjoyed meeting a traffic controller and learning about the many kinds of aircraft visiting Cape Girardeau. Would recommend a tour and possible flight."

"This is not a reflection on our airport, but Contour itself. Far too many canceled flights with no heads up, ux errors in their mobile app causing serious check-in issues, no communication to passengers pre-flight, mechanical failures causing 4 hour long delays or cancellations, and a complete lack of customer service. I’ve given them 5 chances, and I’m officially giving up on it."

"It's very small and old but very fast to move through. In and out in minutes. Don't expect luxuries but with a 35 minute flight to Nashville, you can have that and also have already cleared TSA."

"How would you expect an airport to cope with an astronomically-improbable coincidence that had hundreds of airplanes inbound for the same four minutes? I was in one of those airplanes, parked at CGI in anticipation of the 2024 total solar eclipse on 8 April. Of course there were other small, single engine airplanes on the ramp, but the set of folks willing to fly hundreds or thousands of miles to see an eclipse included those with airplanes larger than the one providing commercial service to CGI. It's easy to imagine all the ways in which this event could have gone wrong and overwhelmed the airport capability. None of those materialized, owing the hard work and dedication of so many folks. Morgan and her staff at the FBO organized the things of inbound airplanes, which Justin and Stacey in the control tower handled the frantic arrivals and departures as though they'd worked Oshkosh for years. Seamless, professional, and gracious service at a time where the FAA was worried about overwhelmed air traffic. Mike was both airport maintenance and the DJ, the face of CGI's solar eclipse party. Tom and his army of volunteers parked and arranged all the airplanes in a way that facilitate smooth and undelayed departures for everyone. It's remarkable that the total eclipse was only one of the many memorable experiences at CGI. I have to agree with the words of a fellow pilot who said "all the folks here are gems"."

"Staff has failed diversity and inclusion why cause they’re color blind- they see brown people they immediately think invaders surely they forget that before their ancestors came all of that land in Missouri was native Americans people with brown skin and black straight hair. Now think who is the trespasser. Hence they’ve triple the price to Chicago."
