About the Business

Welcome to Dogwood Lake Lot Owner Association, a serene and private campground subdivision nestled in the heart of Warrenton, Missouri. Established in 1977, our community offers an idyllic retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of mature trees and abundant wildlife. Conveniently located just three miles from the Interstate 70 and State Highway 47 intersection, our entrance is easily accessible directly from Highway 47.

Originally known as the Ramada Camp Inn Resort, our main lake may still appear as "Ramada Camp Inn Lake" on GPS. Dogwood Lake boasts a peaceful atmosphere with vibrant Dogwood trees that bloom spectacularly each spring, offering a picturesque escape just a short drive from the conveniences of Warrenton's grocery stores and restaurants.

Our community is rich in amenities and activities designed to bring our lot owners together. Enjoy fishing in our expansive ten-acre lake or the three additional smaller fishing lakes. The clubhouse is a hub for family-friendly events throughout the season. Relax by the saltwater swimming pool, challenge friends to shuffleboard or horseshoes, or gather around the community firepit. Children will love our dedicated playground area.

Dogwood Lake is a gated community, exclusively for lot owners, with no overnight rentals or short-term stays. While owners can access their lots year-round, permanent residency is not permitted. Each lot is individually deeded, granting owners a vote and a voice in the Dogwood Lake Lot Owners Association, empowering them to shape the future of our park.

Annual fees contribute to park maintenance and management, guided by our Covenants, By-Laws, and Rules and Regulations, alongside Warren County regulations. Our elected Board of Directors, Activities Committee, and on-site Caretakers ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all.

For more information, please visit our Policies and Forms section. We invite you to experience the tranquility and community spirit of Dogwood Lake, where nature and neighborliness thrive.

"It is a private campground. If you buy a lot..... you can get in. Or, you need to know someone. We just bought 2 lots and so far we love it. The lady at the clubhouse is super nice and very helpful."

"Great private campground. Once you purchase a lot there, you pay an annual fee. Water is free, electric is through Ameren and you’re responsible for your own electric. Some sites have sewer, others require a holding tank. Amenities include lakes, clubhouse, pool, activities throughout the year, WiFi, 3 Bath houses, playground and a great community."

"Nice park, big lots of spots. However, I do not know how folks got some of their rigs in there. The roads were very narrow, its hilly and curved roads are rock not paved. You can tell some folks have lived there for years, the age of the campers revealed that. The pool is small for so many lots and it is showing its wear. They had a playground for kids which was nice but the out buildings were old. I believe the office/club house just had a make over because it looked really nice. Its gated for safety. I'm sure the folks that are there are very happy with their choice but I dont think we will buy into this facility."
