As we approach our 75th anniversary on December 20, 2024, we invite you to join us in celebrating this significant milestone with a series of exciting events and commemorations.

Celebrating 75 Years of Faith and Fellowship

Our 75th anniversary celebrations kick off on Sunday, September 8th, with a day filled with joy and community spirit. Join us for the start of Sunday School, where children are invited to participate in worship, receive blessings for their backpacks, and enjoy an ice cream social with plenty of food and games. Our guest preacher, Pr. Kristen (Corr) Rod, will lead us in worship, and we will unveil exciting new projects like the Faith Walk and History Book.

Each month leading up to our anniversary, we have special events planned, including:

- Reformation Sunday (October 27th): Celebrate with us as three of our confirmation students affirm their faith. Pastor Lynn (Gray) Erickson, a daughter of Faith, will preside over worship, followed by a cake reception.

- Christ the King Service (November 24th): Join us for a Pastor Reunion with pastors and interims who have served Faith, followed by a reception to reminisce and give thanks.

- Final Anniversary Celebration (December 8th): Bishop Amy Current will lead us in worship, followed by a catered meal to commemorate our 75th year.

In anticipation of our festivities, we are offering Faith Lutheran swag featuring our special 75th anniversary logo. T-shirts, sweatshirts, and quarter-zips are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting our celebration expenses. Orders can be placed online until September 1st, with items ready for pick-up a few weeks later. Additionally, locally made Christmas ornaments featuring the 75 years logo are available for a suggested donation.

Our Mission and Beliefs

Since our founding in 1946, Faith Lutheran Church has been rooted in the belief that God's unconditional love in Jesus Christ is freely given to all. We are committed to living out this love through compassion, kindness, and acceptance, treating everyone with respect and dignity.

We offer a variety of programs and activities for all ages, including Sunday School, mission trips, community service projects, and fellowship events. Our members actively participate in local outreach, supporting food pantries and tending to our community garden.
