Dollar General

"This is our closest neighborhood store. I will start by saying years ago I worked for Dollar General. Inventory was a big thing we tried to get it put away as soon as possible. We never left u-carts on the floor to block an aisle. First of all it is a fire hazard. My friend and I were trying to look at the clocks on the aisle. A box fell. Did not hurt anything. Lol, we were yelled at by a somewhat young girl. I think Reddish hair. My friend said she was there two days in a row, and the u-carts were in the same place. We were told she would get in trouble if we were down there. I told her the u-carts, I think, and I think 6 of them altogether, I think, should not be on the floor. They should be in the back unless you are putting stock up. So nevertheless even though this store is closer, more cluttered. I think we will be going to another store where people care. Like the one @hwy341 in Brunswick , much larger and much cleaner and nicer, nor hateful attitudes. I worked alot of retail. If she is a manager, you are in trouble. I am speaking only the one on Perry Lane."

"This is the dirtiest dollar general I have ever entered. Nothing on the shelves most merchandise in the floor, carts with stock are in every aisle you can’t even get through the store. No one was working on the floor other than the cashier, so why were the carts out of the back and in the aisles? Are they hoping the customers will help stock? Come on, get it together."

"This is the best Dollar General I have been in. The employees are always so helpful, informs customers on upcoming sales in case they don't get the ads, and are always so nice. No matter how much stock they have to put up, they never leave the isles blocked and they make sure you can get around the entire store without getting aggravated. Most all DG's I've been in are so crowded with stock items that I turn around and leave. The manager of this store is so easy to talk to about sale items, helpful in finding items I'm looking for too and I've seen her interact with employees and she has so much patience and care in making sure they are trained properly and have the same level of excellent customer service as she has."
