"Just walked Tavia's Trail December 4th. Trail is in good condition, a few dead falls you will have to step over, nothing big. There is a small foot bridge near the begining of the trail you may want to avoid. I am 230 lbs and felt like I might break through it if I bounce just a tiny bit. I saw a few birds but no other wildlife. I did see several animal tracks though, so they are there. Enjoyed the walk."

"The Moody Forest Tavia's Trail is a very well marked/blazed (purple paint/signs/ribbon) hike through mostly pine forest with plenty of varied wildlife and vegetation. The trailhead is further east than the Google pin, with a parking area and welcome sign. At this time of winter the grass on the trail was mostly dried, but there were still ticks so be properly prepared. Most of the trail is plenty wide and well maintained, with a few areas closer to the river more natural and more narrow but easily navigated."
