"Watch your charges when playing lotto! If you stop in to buy lotto and all you have is your debit card they will charge you $1 to use the debit card which is fine. What isn't fine is that they tell you that after you buy $5 worth of lotto it will be $6 (still all well and good I understand they have to pay less than 2.5% of the total charge to be able to swipe through card which is a business expense I understand passing along. On this total, pennies ) and then charge you $9 and do not give you a receipt so you only notice while checking something unrelated on your card the next day. I paid $9 for $5 worth of lotto. This behaviour makes me nervous to use my card at this store and others should beware."
"Good man running this place he has always been so kind to me and my mom. Always there to look out for us when needed and to ensure we get the best possible prices in town. Hes overall a very understanding caring person which this town needs more of for sure. Thanks man it means alot :)"
"Told i had to spend at least $3 in order to be able to use my card at their store. I have lupus, I'm on an immunosuppressant med and its a pandemic so I've been quarantined since March and lost my job. Im glad they can so easy shun a few dollars but some of us aren't so lucky right now and have lost our jobs. Its humiliating. Im sick of this everywhere. You've been reported to visa/Mastercard where you KNOW you can not do this per your contract nor can you charge a maximum or a fee to use our debit cards. My $2 is as good as anyone else's $10. Youre more than willing to take the $1.50 from the drunk sitting outside openly drinking a beer in front of your store at 6am."
"Most of the people that go in there to play the machines smoke cigarettes which there's nothing wrong with that at all I just wish that this store wouldn't let them smoke inside the store while they're playing. sometimes you can go inside the store and you'll think you're at a pool hall due to the amount of cigarette smoke in the air. Stop letting people smoke inside the store."
"Really love coming here, the service is great and the employees are amazing especially Sonya. She always has a smile and greets me each time I come in and gives great service, if it weren’t for her service I don’t think I would’ve continued to go there."
