"This is without question one of the best fireworks displays on the south coast . I don't understand why they do not close Route 18 during the fireworks display, because it is a pedestrian and traffic nightmare remaining open during the carnival and the fireworks. But I'm sure more experienced Minds have discuss this at length and this might be the best option. If you get a chance to view them please put it on your list of must-see fireworks."

"Great place to go for many, many fun things! As a child and teen I grew up at this field playing baseball from 8 years old through my late teens. Also dabbled in a little bit of umpiring games as well. Very clean and professionally kept the grounds keeper or manager has been doing a spot on job for many years. There are 5 or more baseball fields for town league games ranging from T-Ball to Babe Ruth! Leagues from about 4 years of age to about 14. I believe 2 or 3 concessions stand as of late. Snacks, candy, soda, water, and some hot food as well. When not in use by players anyone is free to play on most of the fields. These neatly kept diamonds are also accompanied by 2 full court basketball courts and the Bridgewater Badgers football field. It was upgraded from my years at the Williams jr high directly behind the field which was 20 some odd years ago. Great for pick up games with the boys. There's a nice little playground on the far corner right on Cottage Street as soon as you pass the veterans club. Wide open space is amazing to fly kites, bring your dog, or just enjoy the weather on a good sunny day. It's always my go to for a nice walk or run, or if you have little ones to let run around. Most of Legion is well away from the main road aside from the parking lots.Ive never been disappointed with going there."
