"I'll never quite understand when you give somebody just a little bit of authority in this world why they think they can be disrespectful and talk down to others but for some reason Nelia Williams thinks that, that is exactly her right. I don't ever leave reviews like this but after the way that this woman just talked to me a 20-year military combat vet retired who is just looking for some simple help was way out of line and this won't be the only thing I say about it. And for the building department itself hang your American flag the correct way. Even a boy scout can tell you that the way it's currently hanging is disrespectful."

"Nothing but courtesy and prompt answers to all our building questions. Either over the phone or in person, I always receive good service and appreciate the people who are working hard in this department."

"Building inspector Ralph Souza should not be in this position. Some people need permits and some don't. Everyone should be treated the same. He has some people tear down sheds and other buildings and some residents don't need a permit at all. Says he needs warrants to check out people's property's. When you can see they are building right from the road. Anytime you need to see proof of my statement feel free to get in touch with me."

"I wish I remember the name of the lady who answered the phone this morning she was impatient and rude. After I explained to her my situation she acted like I was bothering her. Excuse me if you don't like your job. I'm going through a very difficult time and I needed answers not someone to be rude and with an attitude. I stopped by the office and I spoke to her and I had the worst service I was the only person in the building and she was to busy to help me. She was upset because I asked her where can I find the building inspector because the house I rented was destroyed but falling trees Friday night. She talked to me like I was an idiot because I couldn't make it on time to the house so I can meet him. Wow!!!! She has no idea what I been through the last couple days. I left so angry. I honestly was only looking for help and answers but when you encounter ignorant people who shouldn't be working in customer service makes my situation even worst. Thank you for making my day more stressful, I hope you realize that when someone is going through difficult times sometimes you have to be sympathetic. You never know when you going to need help so when something bad happens to you hopefully you don't encounter an ignorant person. In the other hand the fire department on Briggs Road were so amazing and kind. They went above and beyond to try your help me. Maybe you should learn something from them."
