"This has been my clinic since I was a child and this is a good clinic that used to have some really awesome doctors and nurses back in the day. Unfortunately, the people I loved and worked with are all gone. With that being said, I wan't too specifically highlight how phone service/reception could use a makeover. It takes way too long for someone to answer your call and when they do answer, you get some awfully rude and dry receptionists. I made a call to talk to someone about filling out a PT1 transportation form since I wasn't exactly sure how the process for filling that out works and the receptionist that answered me, instantly talked back to me with an attitude just to tell me that she was the one who had to put in the request to get it filled out. The way she worded her explanation and the attitude she gave me over the phone was not necessary in addition to the time it took to answer some questions that were needed also lead her to continuously give me an attitude. The whole experience with this lady was awful. I can only suggest that she get some extra training since there are better ways of delivering an explanation/answer to patients through the phone."

"I live in malden and take 2 busses just to go there, definitely one of the best hospitals around"

"Literally the worst care experience I've had. Since I started getting my care through CHA, I've had multiple times where I show up for scheduled appointments just to find out they were cancelled. I've been scheduled with doctors other than my primary without warning and had my appointment not covered by insurance because of it. My primary left CHA and I was never told. I spent 7 MONTHS calling them on a weekly basis trying to get set up with a new doctor only to be told there were no openings and to check back in a week. I finally get one scheduled, then find out afterwards that they scheduled it at the WRONG LOCATION. I can no longer deal with such incompetence. You shouldn't either. Find a different company to get your care through."

"Honestly CHA used to be great when I was much younger, but over the years it’s gotten progressively worse. I had a phone appointment last month which I received the call for 2 hours late. Due to the pressing issue, I tried to leave an in person appointment where I have to wait more than a month to be seen. Even when something is urgent, I have a better shot of dying than seeing a doctor at CHA."

"CHA used to be good but it's gotten beyond bad, so much so that I'm considering looking for a new primary care. My recent appointment for a physical was canceled last minute. And I went in for another appointment where I was going to be referred to a dermatologist... 3 months later I get a letter in the mail that there are no appointments so I should call my insurance to find someone else. If you like timely care and increased chance of death, use CHA."
