"Came here twice for non life threatening issues that urgent care couldn't handle and was honestly pleasantly surprised. In and out in about 3-4 hours, which is the wait time just to be seen in other ERs. Nurses, PAs, and doctors were great."

"They prescribed me with 4 rounds of 4 different antibiotics that not only didn't treat the issue I had but actually made it much worse. I had to do my own research and debate with them to prescribe me the proper medication. When I went back in July it was the same thing, I had to go 3+ times before someone was able to figure out what was actually wrong."

"Went to the Faulkner ER with foot and leg pain. I had been walking with a limp and it was suggested that I go to the er. The er waiting room was very busy and rather dirty. I should have left right then but I had never had a negative experience at the Faulkner before. I was there from 3pm till after midnight. The triage nurse was casual, talking to her buddy about covering another shift while I was being seen. She never took my blood pressure only my temp. Used old information that has me listed as a daily smoker. When I was finally seen the clearly frazzled doctor had me get an x ray then sent me home limping. She tried to give me a pain patch. No boot, no crutches, no MRI, nothing. She told me it was not an emergency aka not important. I left angry before discharge. Two weeks later, it had been determined that I have degenerative spine disease, which is causing problems with my arms and legs. Do not go to the Faulkner Hospital ER expecting help and care. Do not expect any competent support from the Faulkner patient advocate. She only talks to you on the phone and passively passes on the information. She does not advocate for the patient so there really is no recourse or accountability for poor patient care. If you are in trouble go to Brigham and Women's the main campus or go to Mass General."
