Currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer at The Vascular Care Group (TVCG), Dr. Kwolek is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Distinguished Fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Kwolek's impressive educational journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by a medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his general surgical residency at the New England Deaconess Hospital, Harvard Surgical Service, and a vascular surgery fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Further honing his expertise, he pursued advanced Endovascular surgical training at the Arizona Heart Institute.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kwolek has held prestigious roles, including Vascular fellowship program director at the University of Kentucky and director of endovascular training at Massachusetts General Hospital. He founded the first integrated Vascular residency at MGH and Harvard Medical School. Complementing his medical expertise, Dr. Kwolek earned an Executive MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management, with a special certificate in healthcare management.

Dr. Kwolek has been instrumental in training over 35 fellows and residents in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, has served as a principal investigator for more than 35 vascular clinical trials, and has published over 135 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He is a sought-after speaker at national and international symposiums.

At his Wellesley office, Dr. Kwolek offers comprehensive care in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various vascular conditions. In addition to his Wellesley practice, Dr. Kwolek sees patients at the Atrius Health Needham office on the 2nd and 4th Fridays each month. Many procedures are performed at the state-of-the-art office-based lab in Wellesley, providing patients with a safe, efficient, and comfortable recovery at home. For procedures requiring a hospital setting, Dr. Kwolek operates at Newton Wellesley Hospital.
