Nestled in the serene rural town of Rochester, Massachusetts, Nettie's Bees is a locally owned small business dedicated to the art and science of beekeeping. Led by the passionate and skilled beekeeper, Nerija Kupryte-Hopkins, affectionately known as Nettie, our mission is to support the local community with high-quality bee-related products and services.

Born in Lithuania, Nettie was introduced to beekeeping as a child under the guidance of her father. Her love for bees blossomed, leading her to pursue degrees in agriculture, specializing in bees and pollination. After settling in Rochester with her family, Nettie rekindled her beekeeping skills while assisting a local cranberry grower. Her passion quickly grew from managing a single hive to becoming a vital part of the local cranberry industry by providing essential pollination services.

At Nettie's Bees, we offer a wide array of natural products crafted from our honey harvest, including candles, lip balms, creams, elderberry syrup, tinctures, pollen, and other holistic applications. Visit our renowned "Honey House" at 13 Shadow Farm Lane to explore our products, or find them at various local retailers from Fall River to Plympton and along Cape Cod to Sandwich and Orleans.

In addition to our product offerings, we support aspiring beekeepers by providing bee packages (nucs) and offer professional honey bee swarm removal and relocation services. Nettie and her husband Tom are active participants in local farmer's markets throughout the year, where you can discover our products and learn more about our beekeeping journey.
