"Nice relaxing quiet spot to fish. They used to have trash cans but they've been removed. So please if you go take your trash with you. I'm not sure if they're banking on people making a mess so they can close it. Seems silly to not have trash cans but have picnic benches."

"Melville pond is my go to quick fishing stop. It's stocked with trout annually, has a canoe/kayak put in and a small fishing pier. While you're probably not going to pull any record setting fish here it's a good spot to take kids fishing and get them started."
"Good fishing for bass, trout & perch, there are other species to fish for. This pond has a handicap pier & floating dock for angling . Fishing it can be a challenge cause of the lack of open shoreline spots. Boat anglers will enjoy the small size of pond but remember, NO GAS POWERED BOATS ALLOWED."
