"Childre Ford has a vehicle listed online at $11,300. I called to be sure it was still in stock. I arranged a time for a test drive. I drove from Macon to Sandersville, about an hour and a half one-way. I arrived on time (their hours are terrible, they close at 6:30 and aren't open on weekends. I had to take off work.) After test driving the vehicle, I was interested. It is a used vehicle that's been on their lot for over 9 months, and I noticed a few things it could use, service-wise. I made an offer of $10,000. (~90% of Internet price!!!) The sales person told me the vehicle was "priced at $14,900" and acted like my offer price was not in any way acceptable. Sales person said they'd give my offer to the owner. I never heard back despite follow up calls. Wasted time and gas driving 3 hours round trip."
