Reviews
"It's a busy place. People going around town cross through all the time. It's also a small plaza. It does have granite seating all around. It's very small and has a large patriotic flag display. Locals just call it "The Flags" rather than Riley plaza. But it does have a monument on a huge rock about Riley. The Flags has huge flag poles in the center of it. Some of the flags change based on current holidays. But the American flag and POW/MIA fly all the time. Some of the unhoused congregate there, but they are generally very nice."
"this park is lost to the homeless. you can't go through the washington st lights without a homeless person holding a sign at the top the hill across from dominos or at the derby st/ washington st intersection. most mornings they are tolling both locations. there's also a spooky guy in all black by mandee's pizza @essex and boston st. cops and the mayor do not care."
"This has to do with the driving experience: the city had a wonderful rotary here that worked well and then destroyed it with the new system of traffic lights and worse traffic back ups. They should return this to a rotary!"
"Very pretty. I love that they have Pride flags during June. Such a great representation of all members of the community."
"They need to keep the homeless people out like they do at Lafayette Park. They yell, fight, sleep on the little walls. It doesn't look good for tourists. I know Ligebridge is right there.. but can't they make an adult park somewhere on a side street just for them?. Some benches, trees and such but nothing for kids."
