"If I could put 0 stars I would. We have never had any issues with this store before today. I called 15 minutes before closing asking if they would stay open because my husband was driving from Graceville and the gentleman had an attitude and said ya we close at 4. I said I understand that but he will be right at the time you are closing and I want to make sure you would wait until he gets there he is on the way. He said ya whatever I then went to ask again so he is not wasting his time driving, 'will you still be there' and he said yes. My husband showed up 4 minutes past closing and the gentleman was inside telling him ya sorry we are closed. My husband then went to explain that I called and he would wait and he kept arguing telling him I close at 4 can't help you. It is sad for a small town to not have the customer service that it should have. If you are not willing to stay open please just tell me no sorry we will be closed so we did not have to waste a trip to drive there. Very disappointed and it made me lose a little faith in people, with everything our world has been going through we as a people should stickk together and Chipley Hardware just isn't on that same page apparently."
"It's a nice shop to explore when you want random odds and ends. I hardly ever find what I was initially looking for during most visits which is admittingly fusterating. That being said however, I have found plenty of treasure here and I'll keep coming back on occasion. There is always something new and interesting to look at and I really enjoy how the employees are relaxing in the front, always willing to help you when you need it or just to sit down for some conversation."
