"Beautiful church! It's obvious the building is well cared for by the members of the parish. We were visiting the area from out of state and looked for an early morning (8 or 9 am) Mass. St Catherine's was the only one in the area that early. It just happened to be First Communion Sunday as well, so that was an extra special treat. The music was beautiful. The organist really is accomplished with that incredible organ! Only one complaint: this Church has no kneelers for receiving the Eucharist and - hopefully only due to the large crowd for First Communion- Father was moving so fast giving Communion that it felt like an assembly line and not reverent at all. Maybe he has a different demeanor at less 'busy' Masses."

"We were looking for another Catholic Church close to our location while staying in Somerville. We found this church and its beautiful garden with the Virgin of Fatima. We have been in Fatima, Portugal duing one of our pilgrimages and it was great to find it here in Massachusetts."
"Had to stop in and attend Sunday Mass. My parents were married here in the early 1950s. It is a beautiful Chuch with and upper and lower worship spaces. After Mass we reenacted a photo my parents took on their wedding day outside."
