"Absolutely awful surface to play on. From the outside it looks like a beautiful, well kept field. But when you actually play on it, it’s the exact opposite. The surface is incredibly hard and the traction is dreadful. I’ve slipped on the surface multiple times, and tonight I slipped and hyper extended my knee because of how bad it is. Mind you I’m wearing proper cleats and have had no issues at any other field. Had to be one of the cheapest install jobs possible covered up with nice paint. If you can avoid playing here, do at all costs. Otherwise know that you could be at risk of injuring yourself."

"Somerville does a great job with maintaining the field. Nets are in good shape, the stadium was clean, bathrooms were well stocked with soap and toilet tissue in the women's bathroom, which is not the norm when comparing to other stadiums in the area. Staff that was working on my particular Sunday when I was officiating were present and was keeping the field free of spectators."

"Great for pickup games, VOLO sports, etc. personally I feel the turf is short, but given it’s a public field, I won’t say that’s necessarily a bad thing. I advise that taller or heavier people avoid running on it (my ankle hurt for 3 days cuz I slipped, again, not the fields fault)"

"Nice facility regarding bathrooms and blewchers. The field is well lit at night. Parking is easy. Unfortunately the field is a VERY hard turf surface. Uncomfortable to run on. Make sure to have supportive shoes otherwise your feet will be aching for days."
