Located at 10 Common Street, Woburn, Massachusetts, the Woburn Redevelopment Authority (WRA) serves as the city's dedicated urban renewal and community development agency. Established in 1961 under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 121B, the WRA is an independent municipal authority committed to enhancing the quality of life for both new and current residents of Woburn.

Our governance structure includes five members: four appointed by the Mayor and one by the Governor, ensuring a balanced and community-focused approach to development. Since 2000, the WRA has operated under a formal agreement with the City of Woburn, driving projects that foster growth, sustainability, and innovation.
