"We recently had noticed some issues around our 112 year old colonial….settling, floor sloping, some tight windows/doors, and some slight bowing & mild splitting on old oak columns and floor joints. Ryan and Chris had identified the columns and footers needing replacing and some key points where additional column support should have been previously installed. Some support beams that were only notched together (when the home was initially built back in the early 1900’s) that required bracing. Not to mention a portion of the sill which rotted away adding to the structural issues. I feel our estimate was very fair given the amount of work required to not only remedy our home structurally but getting it up current building code. Communication was excellent and I was always kept in the loop. We can definitely notice the house feels more solid and the floors definitely more level and are very satisfied with the end results! As expected, we did experience some slight wall cracks from jacking the house up, but I knew this would happen given the age of the house, but it is only cosmetic and required just a little patchwork with joint compound and some priming & painting…easy stuff. Our hardwood floors didn’t even buckle! I was expecting some planks to pop a bit, but much to my surprise none did! Kudos to Ryan, Chris, TT, and Matt as they busted their humps during this summer’s heat wave in early July when temps were 90 degrees with Florida-like humidity to boot. If you’re in a similar situation like me with an aging home built long ago whose bones need fixing so it will last another 100+ years, given these guys a call!!! -Brian Weir-"
