Welcome to the Lasell University Police Department, proudly serving the Lasell College community from our location at 1844 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton, Massachusetts. Situated in the safest city in North America, our department is dedicated to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all students, faculty, and staff.

Our primary mission is to ensure the safety and security of our entire community through proactive crime prevention and community policing initiatives. Students are automatically enrolled to receive campus-wide emergency text alerts to their cell phones, with options to modify or add additional contacts for enhanced communication.

On campus, we have strategically placed 27 Code Blue lights, providing immediate emergency communication with Campus Police at the push of a button. We regularly disseminate crime prevention and awareness information to keep our community informed and vigilant. This includes awareness programs, crime monitoring, and secure access to buildings.

Our officers are well-trained, participating in ongoing anti-bias and fair policing education to ensure equitable and professional service. For added safety, the Lasell Police Department offers escort services for students during non-operational hours of the Shuttle Service.

For those driving to campus, our parking office operates Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., where you can obtain parking permits and learn about our parking rules and regulations.
