"Beautiful trail but lots of knuckleheads that don't understand rail trail basics (Controlling your dogs. Staying to one side of the trail, that type of thing). Recommend starting at Alewife. It's a slow, consistent uphill from there to Bedford. I always like to go downhill on the back end of the ride"

"The bike way is very nice. It is paved and goes all the way into Boston. Be careful with kids, there are many fast bikes and too many electric vehicles on the trail now. I wish they would enforce the no motorized vehicles on the trail. The train depot is really cute and sells some cool little things. The train is cool and full of history. You can rent it out for events."

"Nice 10 mile trail thru Bedford, Lexington, Arlington and Cambridge. Takes you into Alewife Subway Redline terminal and there are several branch trails from there. They plow in the winter!"
