"It's really just a traffic island with some trees, flowers and grass. Once a year it hosts the famous Bedford pole capping event, but besides that I'm not sure it's worth a visit."

"The park's physical presence is small, just 6,000 sq ft, at the intersection of a trio of roads. There are no facilities, picnic tables, trails or a parking area. However, the site is of historical significance, as on this site Bedford Minutemen and Militia met at dawn on April 19, 1775 to march off to Concord. Now, it holds the memorial to their Captain, Jonathan Wilson, who was killed on that day. And it also holds a stark, bare Liberty Pole with a red cap on it."
