"The beach itself is very nice. Decent restrooms with some snack options. The reason for the 2 is the ridiculous amount they charge for parking. $25 for weekdays, $30 on the weekend. Charging for what? We will not be going back."
"Went yesterday, band was by the pavilion, fire pits on the beach, food trucks in the parking lot, and very little seaweed between chairs 2 and 3. The seaweed accumulates in certain spots, so if you are swimming in seaweed just more up or down the beach a little. Also, there have always been many small pebbles at the shoreline but past that the sand is great. $35 is a lot for parking on the weekend but well worth it. Best beach in RI for boarding."
"Second beach was our favorite beach. Lately it has been very disappointing. Too many rocks. It is very difficult to walk the beach without a foot covering of some sort. It was always such a nice clean rock free beach. What happened? And the cost went up. It's now $25.00 to park! So sad."
