During our wedding planning process, every single vendor and venue we talked to in Newport had Confectionery Designs at the top of their list for cake! We now know why! Their talent speaks for itself. Their cakes are a true combination of works of art and deliciousness. Every bite during our cake tasting was perfection, best cake we’ve had! "Absolutely a great destination. Tiny little cozy place on the side of the byway. This is the kind of place you hope you have near where you live. Quick, comfortable, cozy quality. Hand crafted pastry, donuts, croissants cakes, coffee. Everything we tried was delicious. The staff was friendly, courteous- they took very good care of us. They got all of our order correct! I ordered a croissant. It was so light and crispy and I had an iced tea. They brewed the iced tea fresh then over ice, and it was totally perfect. I requested some butter for my croissant, I believe it was the owner that came out and told me that it was fresh cream butter, but it had no salt in it, she asked me "would you like me to add a little salt to the butter"? I mean who steps up to the plate like that and really tries to make their customers happy, well this place does. I've reviewed lots of places and this was truly a great gem. So glad I found it. The pastries are amazing n"
