"LOL....Who is up-rating this place? Their family members? The baguette is hard as a rock, my grandma would turn these workers upside down and give them the wooden spoon. Only an idiot tourist would think this is authentic bread. Absolutely embarrassing."

"What a find! Down this non-descript passageway on Hanover St. All kinds of breads are baked here. Rumor has it that they supply a lot of Italian and upscale restaurants in the Boston area. They also have a full service shop Italian store next door along with a beautiful lounge/restaurant adjoining."

"very mid sandwiches but good value, it was very large! fresh loaf of bread is super nice, got the miche sourdough. they were also nice to slice it for me. croissant was also okay. i think reheated is a lot better (and sandwich too)"

"Hidden away from the main street, Bricco panetteria is a small counter-serve shop with a limited selection of pastries and Italian breads. Since they were located in the alley behind its main restaurant, it wasn’t easy to find, but I was glad we took our time to make the visit. Compared to other Italian pastry shops around, the options were very limited, and this seemed more like a place where local restaurants and the neighborhood get their daily supply of fresh breads. Along with the olive Italian bread, we got their signature Sfogliatelle napoletane and some apple and cherry danishes. Wrapped in a delicate crust, the mini lobster tails were amazing, and the danishes were quite good. The olive bread was also great for making snacks or for pairing with some home-cooked tapas or pasta. This place may not be for tourists looking for a late night dessert, but I would recommend giving them a try if you live nearby."

"Bricco Panetteria is located at the end of an alley by Bricco Panetteria and it's definitely a hidden gem. The decor is humble, simple and tiny-spaced, so people need to line up by the stairs but the staff served everything quickly. We were recommended to get a loaf with prosciutto & cheese and focaccia by a loyal customer. It was absolutely delicious with moist & delicate texture and the price was so reasonable with the size."
