"Had to go through this mall because it was the exit from the parking garage. Every store was closed, the mall plants are all dead, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and the elevator smelled like piss. The entire mall was a Made In China horror shop with way over priced stuff. The elevator also popped and lurched and I thought I was gonna get stuck."
"Extremely filthy and the only place I felt completely unsafe on our trip to Salem. It's a shame because there are a few cute shops. Lots of homeless inside and outside, and do NOT attempt the bathrooms here for your own safety. The restaurants are supposed to be great and looked lovely, but it wasn't a pleasant environment with small children."
"I don't even know what was going here. It was panhandle city mall when we visited today. We HAD to go into this mall to find a public restroom since most stores along this strip do not offer them. The bathroom was worse than a fairground porta potty. Think overused porta potty meets filthy beach bathroom. The smell was gagworthy. There was a giant hole in one of the bathroom walls leading to who knows where giving perv viewing vibes. Turns out the smell was coming from feces that had been smeared/sprayed all over the sink and counter. (You read that right, no auto correct going on here.) The state of this place made me feel bad for the homeless people crowded around the area. 2 stores were open - everything else was shut down or vacant. Liminal space meets indepent underfunded horror flick. Bring a weapon, hand sanitizer and make sure you're updated on all your shots."

"Shopping here is decent, the coffee shop is great, so is the Thai restaurant inside. Lots of cool comics, neat walk-through businesses, and plenty to spend money on when you want to. Opens up right to a great strip of street with more shopping, dining, and historical value. Definitely a great place. Went many times. Will be back."
