"I have lived in a Mattson Real Estate apartment for a couple of years now. Honestly, Gabby at Mattson Real Estate is the reason I have stayed. If I put in a request, she handles it. If something is not to par or isn't completed as asked, Gabby will make sure the problem is handled properly. Gabby is extremely professional and continues to show respect to any tenants that show her the same respect. She cares about the well-being of her residents and is always the first one to make sure we are happy. Mattson Real Estate is lucky to have Gabby."

"These people are the worst! The secretary is ghetto and is apparently granted permission from the owner to gossip while on the clock, using that gossip to attack the xha6 of people she knows nothing about & use profanity at the tenants. She literally acts as ugly as she looks. The owner is even worse!.. He is so professional(sarcasim)... He uses ripped store receipts as a company letterhead to communicate with tenants... And as if that's not bad enough, when he was called on that being unprofessional.. he/the owner begin to text messages the tenants as a pose to a to a call or a letter written on a proper letter head. There has been neglect, disrespect, attacking of character & harassment amongst other things while interacting with this company. And when a meeting was requested by tenants to resolve any and all issues and to establish mutual respect.. The owner Mattson himself flat out refused. And because stood up for myself I'm now being harassed and picked on! I advise anyone who who is looking to use this company to seriously reconsider! U need more confirmation talk to tenants using there services and see for yourself! Horrible unprofessional company. BBB needs to be aware of the way this company is operating! I adore the owners of the property truly lovely people! But this management company Mattson absolutely sucks!"

"This is the worst Real Estate Company ever. My family and I found them by mistake and ended up renting a unit from them , the unit at first glanced looked good and my wife fell in love with it. But once we moved in months later we started noticing the negligence on maintaining the building.. the carport roof was all deteriorated and with the latest storms it practically holds lil water and leaves the cars tainted with some sticky substance. It took over a yr and some of my neighbors to get the company to replace a faulty water heater that supplies hot water to 6 units. The termite problem is also bad part of the roof is falling and it could possible fall on one of the children that leave in he apartment complexes that is separated by 2 buildings, on one side is 6 units and on the other only 4 . Mattson always tries to find an excuse to go repair my unit but they take the time to go and visit and repair other units in my building. These are some of be pictures from the building.. and yes I am still a resident here waiting for my room windows to be resealed or replaced ... and and I have a 2 month old and I when I told Gabby the receptionist that I didn't want to look for another place to move and she told me "you are more than welcome to move and rent from another company" easy for her to say since that is their easy way to avoid making any repairs ."

"This company must be the most dishonest uncaring money-hungry and incompetent business I've ever had to deal with. They manage the apartment property next door to my house... their tenants cause damage and they take no responsibility. Then they have workers come out to do work on the property and also caused damage to my vehicle. When I contacted the company I was advised to speak with Gabby since she was in charge of the building. Once I started speaking with her it was obvious how incompetent and in sympathetic she was to the situation that was being caused by her tenants. It's obvious this company is only worried about collecting its money and not about what the tenants are doing to their neighbors or to the property. I tried several times to speak with them and try to figure out who my insurance company needs to contact regarding what happened and instead of being an adult and giving the information requested Gabby decided to deal with the situation in a childish manner where every time I called she'd hang up or we tend to speak another language or send me to the company's voicemail. The second woman I spoke with which I did not get her name also is incompetent even at the basic task of answering the calls for the business.. From what I was told the owner Roger Mattson would be the person I need to speak with regarding the situation with the property that his company manages. After providing this information they decided to call the Hawthorne police and tell them that I have been calling which I had only done because I needed the information so I can direct my insurance company and lawyer as to who they need to contact. I strongly urge anyone that is going to rent a property that is managed or own or or handled by Mattson real estate walk away... actually you should run these people will only take your money and do not care about what's going on on the property and disregard you as someone that does not matter. I hope that more people read these reviews of how badly this company treats people. they have no regard for human decency they have no empathy for people who have to deal with the tenants that have caused damage to others property. If this company did a better job of screening their tenants, instead of worrying about the money we wouldn't be having these issues. So avoid this company at all costs even if what they're trying to rent is your dream come true, dealing with them will only be a nightmare."
