"Honestly this establishment doesn't even deserve a star. Whoever is in charge of alterations, is very incompetent. I asked to have my old coat to be adorned with new buttons, since it seems the buttons were ripped off (secondhand coat). He tells me to come in on a specified date. I come in, and he only repaired it half way and had the nerve to overcharge me when he couldn't even follow my instructions. It just doesn't make sense as to why the service was overpriced and why he couldn't communicate with me. *AND TO THE REPLY:* the issue is not the single button in front of the front zipper. I understand that completely and we did discuss that, I'm speaking on the buttons on the pockets that also needed repairing, I told this to the woman at the front during the initial meeting. I specified saying the entire *front* needed to be adorned with buttons. It's the entire fact that I was told to come in and my instructions weren't fully meant (even though I communicated what I needed done at our initial meeting), then I was charged. Respectfully."

"We drop off a dress to get an estimate on an alteration and they say leave it and we’ll call you tomorrow to give you a quote. Never received a call back and when I call they said the “seamstress” isn’t here, wait another day. If that was the case I would have not left it the day I brought it. Very unprofessional. Updating my review due to them calling to apologize for the way this was handled. In the future I’ll give them a try again."

"2 months ago I had a zipper replaced in my Hoodie,I supplied the zipper and it cost $28.00. I just had 2 more zippers done, same thing I supplied the zipper and it cost me $80.00. Same type of hoodie and same size zippers. This place has a floating price scale. I will not be doing anymore business with this place and will not refer any of my friends."

"I’ve been a loyal customer of this business for many years spending $85 - $120 every month without incident until my wife brought in an old stuffed bear. There was an agreement to stitch and clean the bear for a set price in which she was given a receipt. When she came to retrieve the item, the price had doubled. The manager apologized for the discrepancy and offered to take off a measly $5, insisting that the owner would not be willing to take ANYTHING off. She even said the seamstress would pay the $5 difference. For this reason, I choose not to do business with a stingy owner who would prefer to loose a loyal customer over an old stuffed bear. They can KEEP IT."
