"We have been to Trattoria Roma lately for dine in and convenient take out. Often order our favorite standards, consistent and good. Appreciate the traditional Bruschetta, Penne Bolinais, Ceasar Salad w/ protein add on. Generous portions."

"Found this gem of an Italian restaurant while on business in Fort Worth this past week. The food was outstanding. I requested something not quite on the menu and they made it perfectly! A spicy vodka tomato cream sauce with penne pasta. Also ordered their house salad with incredibly fresh romaine, a rich, sweet balsamic glaze and crisp purple onions. They also brought fresh baked bread with a pesto olive oil dipping sauce. They don't serve wine at the restaurant but do allow you to bring wine. I stopped at Total Wine and More which is only a few miles away and picked up a Reserve Chianti. Service was friendly and attentive. Pro tip, Roma is open on Mondays!"

"I have been trying to get here for a while! This restaurant opened during the pandemic which the fact that it still is in business is a testament to the place. The food, service and food was excellent. We started with the bruschetta & Cesar salad (pictured) and then my dining parter got the lasagna and I got the penne calciccia (?) sausage. The entree’s were nice sized portions and came to our table hot! We took the lava cake to go and ended up eating the next day, delicious! The inside of the restaurant was cozy, and there is also a small patio outside the restaurant. We will definitely go there again…but there are so many Italian food choices in Petaluma!"

"Could have been much better after reading all the hype about the place and the owners. So, they started a few places. Moved. Moved back, and started this place. Okay. We arrive on a Saturday evening. About 7-30. The place is packed. The four of us order 4 different plates. Gotta give 'em a taste. I, of course, order the pescatore. Gonna compare it to my other favorites. So, 6 mussels 6 clams 1 scallop 2 medium shrimp and a couple pieces of squid on an angel hair pasta. Hmmm. Well. All was barely warm, except for my pasta. How do you get the pasta too hot to eat, and the stuff on top, and the sauce, barely warm. So. Got the temperature, now flavor. I am not sure how you make a marinara sauce with very little flavor. I had to call the waiter over for more cheese to get some sort of flavor. I am not a smoker and was the driver so only drinking tea and water. Taste buds should be working. I wondered. Hmmmm. But reports from the other three confirmed it. Low on taste, low on temperature. The waiter could have cared less for us. As the place emptied he cared no more than before. The bus boy gave a lot of attention to us and therefore earned the bulk of the tip. Cash straight to him so the waiter didn't share it. My other reviews show better dining choices and I love pescatore. Well . Headed to La Gare's this weekend. About the same price and WAY BETTER."
