"Sprinkles general quality and cupcake selection has really gone downhill. This was an original cupcake shop and they seem to have lost their way. The quality isn’t what it used to be and it;s crazy that 1 cupcake is almost $7. No ROI. I think the days of Sprinkles cupcakes are gone."

"Sprinkles! Oh how I adore thee. I have never had a bad cupcake from Sprinkles - and many, many very good ones. Their red velvet vegan is stunningly good, and you would never in a million years know it’s egg and dairy free. Their other flavors are moist and inventive, with just the right amount of cream cheese or buttercream frosting. But I guess most importantly, their cupcakes remind me of the ones my mom used to make. They taste like home. So while the kiosk system is a little impersonal, it’s worth putting up with. Their bakers are wonderfully consistent, and orders have always been correct and ready on time, and packaged beautifully. If you need something everyone will look forward to at a birthday party, give them a try; you’re in the right place."

"The chocolate cupcakes were a huge miss for me (would not recommend). Black and white cupcake (2/5): This one lacked much flavor. The chocolate base had an unusual bitterness that wasn't enjoyable and just tasted off. Dark chocolate cupcake (1/5): The ganache on this one tasted strange, almost like candle wax. The base was the same as that of the black and white cupcake. However, I've heard better things about some of their non-chocolate flavors, so I might try one of those if I visit again."
