"This bank is absolute trash. I tried going to the branch in Westchester and they said they don't cash the checks their members write at that branch if one isn't a member. They have print outs of branches that do. So I came to this branch in Hawthorne. I asked what that was about because no other banks do this sort of thing. "Susan" i think, got an attitude about it. Then she asked me for my Social Security number on a sticky note, or they would not cash the check. Which i refused. No other banking institutions do this. I cash my customer's checks all the time at BofA. Wells, Chase, and on and on. Never have they refused to honor their members checks as long as there are sufficient funds. AND NEVER HAS ANY ASKED ME FOR MY SSN ON A STICKY NOTE. This place is ludicrous. Don't get an account here! People you write checks to will be treated like trash, which looks bad on you as a member."

"I opened an account on a promotional deal. I needed to lock my money in for 60 days. I locked it in. Then I was told I had to wait 90 days to receive the promotion. Then when I inquired I was told no I had to wait 180 days. It's now been 7 months and still haven't been able to get anyone to help me. Online Citibank says I have to go into the branch as it was a promotional branch deposit. I have sent the banker Jose Lopez who was the personal banker I dealt with in the branch emails. I called the branch and was told they would give him my message. On May 5th he said he would call me the next day. I waited till May 12th before emailing again. No response. I waited again until today May 21st. I am now leaving my review. I haven't touched my money because I didn't want to some how void my promotion but this is just wrong. Do not use this branch or bank because online Citibank doesn't get involved with what branches do. I am taking this to the next level someone has to be held responsible you can't treat customers like this."

"Teller made my Aunt Sign a piece of white, blank paper in order to get money. Wouldn't explain why or what for. Teller flagged the manager and they started whispering. My Aunt asked for the paper with her signature. They wouldn't give it to her. My aunt goes to this bank ALL THE TIME. No one would explain anything to her. She is disabled!! Why are you rude to disabled people?"

"This ish raggedy. It's always something: The system is down right now, give us 20-30 minutes. You can wait in the lobby.; The verifyer isn't in come back tomorrow; Why don't you have an account with us??? Because of these reasons!!! Will not be back here to this location. Every employee is so confused! And they move so slow."
