"Good place to launch a paddle board or kayak. Large parking lot. One side has a muddy bank with a gravel path to the water -- good launch spot. The other side has a grass park, sandy beach, playground, bathroom and outdoor shower. The bathroom stalls do not have doors."

"I like to see the big boats here! I would’ve thought that this bank of the cove is part of Seabridge Park, as it’s within sight of the Edinger Av bridge. That is until I noticed the concrete sign at the park entrance, referring to name of Roy Seabridge, past Mayor and Council member of Huntington Beach. There’s a narrow beach along the bank, possible to walk along. I’ve noticed people fishing from here. Wading up to the ankles may be ok, tho as for swimming in the Bolsa Chica Channel, I’ll say no! The water here is darker and murkier than designated swimming areas nearby, and I don’t know what could be lurking in that water and on the seafloor, without seeing other swimmers here to begin with! Personal preferences aside, I didn’t see any no swimming advisories posted, so to each their own! I’d assume that most visitors are stopping by to park at the open lot and heading over to Seabridge Park, or to see the boats, if not just to ride! The cove is at the northern boundary with Seal Beach, and is a cool spot to look at. It’s around the bend from the open ocean and along the passage of an ecological preserve! There’s also a view of the famous Water Tower House of Seal Beach, visible looking west or left, towards the ocean."

"Wife and I went to Portfino Cove on 9/8/2019 to Kayak with our dog. So chill and laid back. Easy launch lots of kayaking area. we went for about 4hrs and was not enough time. Definitely coming back here. We give this place 5 stars"
