"Space was completely transformed. From unused lots that were a blight to the community to a beautiful oasis. Recommended even if you’re walking (or biking) a bit further to get to it. The landscaping and layout is well thought out. Night walks are dotted with solar powered lamps along the path. It brings the whole community together. An honorable dedication to our veterans."

"Thank you to the city of Huntington Park for the USMC PFC Ramon Romero memorial at Veterans Park. PFC Romero lost his life while serving our country in Iraq August 22, 2005. Huntington Park is his hometown.. RIP Marine"
