Welcome to Gardena Torrance Southern Baptist Church, a vibrant and revitalized place of worship located at 1457 West 179th Street, Gardena, California. As a Fresh Start church, we are dedicated to growing faithfully as a strong and healthy community of believers. Our mission is to seek God's leadership and power in building a Bible-believing, Christ-centered congregation that is sensitive to the needs of the community, focused on making disciples, and committed to expanding God's Kingdom.

"This is what home and family is... everyone is friendly and caring. The church is bright and clean with a large parking lot. Visitors are always welcome. Some folks are dressed up and some are casual in jeans. Sunday school/Kids Zone starts at 9:30am on Sundays for all ages. Worship service begins at 11:00am and the message is streamed live on Facebook. Potluck fellowship / monthly birthday celebration on the 4th Sunday of the month. The Lord's Supper is on the 1st Sunday of the month. There is also a Wednesday night bible study at 7pm. There are three other churches in this building. Iglesia Cantico Nuevo is a Spanish speaking church. Gardena-Torrance Japanese Baptist Church is a Japanese speaking church. East West Baptist Church is a Chinese speaking church. The worship includes both contemporary praise and worship songs and classic hymns."
