"The remains of a pair of World War 2-era naval artillery battery bunkers. It is a short hike up from the trailhead, via trail and a semi-paved road. There is a great view of the Catalina Channel and Santa Catalina Island, depending on the weather. Abundant wildlife and wildflowers all around the park, depending on the time of year. A portion of the trail also goes on top of the bunkers for a better view of the ocean and surrounding coastline."

"Parking located at White Point. The center provides maps to guide your walk up to Battery 127. The trail is paved and is a moderate but short walk. When I went there was maybe to or three other people so be aware that it may be lonely. Definitely a great little work out with some great history! Don’t forget to check out both bunkers and the Nike Missile site!"
