At First Baptist Church of Lomita, we are dedicated to fostering a strong and supportive community through faith, fellowship, and worship. Our doors are open to everyone seeking spiritual growth and a deeper understanding of the Christian doctrine.
We gather every Wednesday at 7 PM for a time of prayer and Bible study, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Additionally, on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at 6 PM, we host an informal Bible question and answer session, providing a platform for open dialogue and exploration of faith.
Led by Rick Garland, who became an elder in August 2022, our church is guided by experienced leadership. Rick, along with his wife Amy and their three children—Dale, Skyeisha, and Benjamin—brings a wealth of experience from his previous work as an evangelist and missionary to State Prisons.
We encourage you to fill out a connection card or submit a prayer request to become a part of our loving community. For those seeking deeper insights, we offer devotional thoughts and full sermon manuscripts from the pulpit of FBC, reflecting our commitment to the apostles' doctrine and fellowship.
