"This newly opened transit center serves to replace the now-closed bus bay that resided adjacent to the South Bay Galleria's parking structure, near the corner of Kingsdale and Artesia. For something that was planned back in early 2000, it's rather lacking. The only amenities here is better location in relation to surrounding stores, free Wi-Fi, restrooms, and a TAP vending machine. Given how much public transit has advanced over the past decade, I don't think it would be too much to ask for a screen or two showing timetables and live arrival times/estimates. A snack and drink machine might also be good but you could just run over to the nearby Target. Seating is terrible: you're expected to sit on carved slabs of concrete made to look like benches while you wait for your bus. Also, the seating areas are sheltered under large metal roofs that are perforated with open holes. Decent for shade but worthless for rainy days. There is no good reason to have visitors getting purposefully wet."
