Dockweiler State Beach RV Park

Welcome to Dockweiler State Beach RV Park, L.A. County’s only recreational vehicle campground located right on the beach! Nestled along the scenic shores of Playa del Rey, our RV park offers a unique opportunity for RV enthusiasts to enjoy the sun, ocean breezes, and breathtaking views from Malibu to Catalina Island.

Please note that due to current public health orders aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19, Dockweiler RV Park is temporarily closed and not accepting reservations. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Our park is currently undergoing exciting improvements with an expansion project at the south end of the property. While we work to enhance your future experience, campers in the south end, particularly in space 84, may experience construction-related noise and vehicle traffic.

Dockweiler RV Park offers a variety of amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Each campsite includes complete hook-ups, a convenient pump-out station, hot showers, and a laundromat. Enjoy a picnic or barbecue right at your site, with the ocean just steps away. Engage in activities such as volleyball, beach walks, romantic fires on the beach, swimming, and surf fishing.

For those who love to explore, the 22-mile Marvin Braude Bicycle Trail is just a few pedals away, connecting you to attractions like Redondo Beach Pier, Venice, Santa Monica beaches, and Marina del Rey. Plus, we are conveniently freeway-close to some of Southern California’s top attractions, including Disneyland, Universal Studios, and the Getty Museum.

Please be aware of seasonal reservation requirements: a 2-night minimum stay is required during the summer. During the winter months, high tides may result in sand berms that could obstruct ocean views from front-row sites.

We are excited to introduce our newly added dry camper sites, offering affordable spaces specifically for campervans. These sites feature picnic tables and barbecue grills, with expanded restroom and laundry facilities to support increased visitor capacity.
