COVID-19 Vaccination Services

We are committed to providing accessible COVID-19 vaccination services to our community. Insured residents are encouraged to obtain their vaccines through healthcare providers or local pharmacies. However, we offer no-cost COVID-19 vaccines through our program until December 31, 2024.

Starting Thursday, September 21, our City-run vaccination clinics will exclusively offer monovalent vaccines, following the FDA's deauthorization of bivalent vaccines. Novavax vaccines are available upon request for eligible individuals while supplies last. Our Main Health Department Immunization Clinic is located at 2525 Grand Ave. Vaccinations are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, please call (562) 570-7912.

Mobile Vaccination Services

Understanding the diverse needs of our community, we offer free mobile vaccination services on weekdays for Long Beach residents who cannot visit our vaccination sites. This service is available to individuals who are homebound, have disabilities, or reside in facilities such as skilled nursing, elder care, sober living, and other long-term care establishments. Residents who can access vaccines through their primary care providers or existing vaccination sites are encouraged to continue doing so.

Stay Connected with V-Safe

After receiving your COVID-19 vaccine, the CDC encourages everyone to register for V-Safe. This platform allows you to report any side effects, receive reminders for second doses, and contribute valuable data on vaccine efficacy and safety. Please note that V-Safe does not schedule vaccine appointments.
