"I can't say enough good things about Dr. Edward Balasanian and his excellent team of nurses and office staff. Dr. B (as most people call him) is an outstanding surgeon. My daughter had a mandibular osteotomy to help her with the breathing problems that disrupted her sleep, leaving her feeling tired all the time. The surgery was a resounding success. As Dr. B. put it, my daughter is more "pinked", from her increased energy! She seems more confident, too, since the procedure aligned her chin with the rest of her face - a positive, subtle change. Post surgery, my daughter could only eat liquid foods. She passed out at the second post op appointments. No problem. Dr. Balasanian is a skilled medical doctor as well. He did everything: inserted the IV (on the first try!) himself (instead of leaving that to the nurse - who I am sure who have done a fine job too-, checked on her frequently, then made sure she had received the entire amount of fluid she needed. I was so impressed. Most importantly, my daughter i.e. the patient felt comfortable with him from the very beginning. He even made her laugh during the first appointment - no small feat considering what she was about to go through. I recommend Dr. B wholeheartedly. Such good fortune to have found him."
