"It is an intense uphill hike that ends with a fantastic view of the ocean. We saw on YouTube that hiking clockwise is easier on the descent—this is very true."

"1,200 feet of steep vertical, with lots of rocks and loose footing, but beautiful views!"

"The trail is a bit steep so be sure to wear shoes with good grip. Good trail overall."

"Came early in the morning, parking was easy. Trail is well maintained. Very steep in some parts. Saw younger kids hiking the trail. I recommend going left at the fork as it is quite steeper on that side, and after the peak you get a much easier hike down with wonderful views to complete the loop. Bring bug spray. Was cloudy when I came, but did start clearing on the way down. There is a notebook on top to write in if you’d like!"

"Great hike! We did a 5 mile loop in the area and enjoyed the great views all around. The start of the trail is steep and later it eases. The parking lot isn't too big but parking on the side of the road is available."
