"Super friendly staff and easy as can be to get in an RV and go. Everything was clean, modern, topped-off, and smelled good. (Don't underestimate the importance of that!) -- This was an affordable and fun family trip. Highly recommend!"

"Worst experience ever. Refrigerator stop working before we even left for our travel back east. As it seems they say you can return to the place you rented it from or buy an ice chest. With having to keep medicine cold the ice chest was an issue. So having it loaded, I would have had to unload it and have to travel 5 hrs round trip. REALLY!! Had problems with it starting at a gas station. No one explained it had an emergency start. Had issue with tire losing air. Had to fill tire daily at a cost of 2.50 each time. They said we need to talk with the place we returned it to for any possible compensation. Of course closed at time of drop off. All they wanted to do was charge us more money the following day. No one was genuinely concerned if you had a positive experience or not. THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE RENTING FROM CRUISE AMERICA..."

"The vehicle we had (25') was easy to drive and very comfortable to drive and sleep in. We did have issues with the refrigerator that went out after the 2nd day. We called the help center and on the first call we weren't given all the correct info on how to correct the problem. On our second call on day 3 to Harvey at the help center (he was very helpful) he walked us through the process, but we still had it not stay on. I kept trying to reset the breakers for two days to no avail and we ended up throwing out about $40.00 worth of spoiled food. They did tell us to buy a cooler and ice and keep the receipts but it was too late and we were not in an area where we could buy those at the time. It ended up finally coming on by day 5. If you take away that issue it was well worth our trip to use one of the RV's for travel. We put over 2400 miles on it and had a great time on our vacation."

"Unfortunately, the "hidden fees" entirely ruin an otherwise positive experience. When your contract is outlined in-person, there are many optional services you can pay for that aren't outlined previously during booking. Much like a rental car agency, you can decided to fill up on gas yourself OR have them do it for a fee. Similarly, you can dump the RV greywater/waste yourself, clean the RV yourself, and a number of other services yourself -- or pay Cruise America to do them for you. What they DON'T tell you is who determines if you're going to pay for those things. You can do all those activities yourself: fill on gas, dump the RV, clean the RV -- and when you drop off the RV, you'll be told "Oh, looks good, we'll send you your bill via email". You'll walk away and drive home with a smile on your face because, seemingly, everything went very well and you had a positive experience. And then you'll get your bill hours later, long after you've driven home, and random fees will be tacked on. Oh, you chose not to dump the waste, okay that's worth the fee. Wait a minute, you DID clean the RV... why is there a charge for that? What's this other stuff? Long review summary: Don't trust this place to honor their pricing. Take photos of EVERYTHING before you return it. Get a written or printed receipt outlining all charges prior to leaving. If you know you're doing that prior to renting this RV... then you'll decide if it's worth fighting them when they upcharge you for random services. The RV experience is otherwise positive, but their pricing is dishonest."

"This was a smooth effortless rental. The RV rental was as simple as renting a standard car. The RV was super clean, all fuel tanks full and functioned flawlessly. Thank you for a great experience."
