"BEWARE RIP-OFF! We booked a small car at LAX and were lied to from start to finish at the counter. We should pay for additional insurance and an E-Toll and Fasttrack pass because everyone takes them. When we asked why we should pay this, we were lied to, saying that the tolls would apply anyway and would be 35% more expensive. We only had one toll booth in San Francisco, which cost a few euros. However, we had to pay €150. The woman at the service was also cheeky and said that German insurance doesn't count in the USA. Luckily we didn't accept anything and thus saved €400. It's unbelievable that you would be welcomed like this on vacation as part of your honeymoon. Never again."
