"Awful public utility company anywhere. If I could give them no stars , I would. Payment got lost in the mail and they made NO effort to let us know that we were past due. A week after the payment due date, they locked our water with no warning and we had to pay $66 to reconnect it the same day."
"I had a water leak on the service line from the street to my house. Had to shut the water off to the house. Called Collier County water department and they sent a crew of two who fixed the leak and I had water back on within the hour! Great job guys."
"Absolutely terrible customer service! I was charged over $30 due to a bill they could not collect on from the previous owner of my new home. Since they couldn't collect, they tried holding me responsible for it. I resisted until they began sending me threatening texts saying they'll lock my water. These people should be ashamed of themselves. Disgusting!"
"Our water was turned of by accident by people working on a neighbors house. The water dept emergency operator and the technician who came and got the water turned back on were outstanding ie friendly, responsive, prompt and they got my water back on quickly."
"Overall not a very good water department. Adequate and gets the job done, but are very lax in their metering, regularly overcharging (never undercharging)... in emergencies have NO backups. Considering what they charge and the high wealth of the entire community, I find is all quite amazing. Second class at best."
