"Ducked in from the rain but were blown away by the quality of our dinner. Adorned the sparkling wine for my daughter with a wisp of baby’s breath. I am untutored in the names of many dishes. But from the complimentary pappadam Basket to the most refreshing salad, samosas, ethereal pakora, a flaky bread and a grilled ground lamb dish that was out of this world tasty….just spectacular in the flavor blends and textures. A little more than average pricing because we had a cocktail each and ordered enough for her to have leftovers tomorrow. Still a good value. Attentive and kind service. We will return. Thank you!!"

"I joined one of Yelp private event at this restaurant. I definitely enjoyed my night. The staff were very friendly and professional. The restaurant was clean. The catering food was delicious! As I was leaving the building, I noticed a table ordered a skewer and a curry dish. That order look amazing to the point I want to order one to go! I am definitely coming back to try out their food on the menu. Also, the Rupee beer was pretty good. I normally just a sip or two with beer, but this mango wheat ale Rupee beer I actually almost finished that before heading off! I'm glad they gave me another one so I can take home and let my husband try that too. Nice relaxing atmosphere and glad to make some new friends!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Sura. Having lived in the city for many years, I’ve been looking for the ideal Indian restaurant. It was superb. The gobi grill dish is outstanding. Dessert is amazing. The food is beautifully plated. The restaurant decor is exceptional — it’s beautifully designed and very inviting. The service was exceptional. All the staff is incredibly kind. Spice level is higher, which hits closer to home in the best way. Look forward to returning many more times in the future, and making Sura my go-to Indian place."

"Drinks were good, food was even better. I left feeling happy and full. The korma chicken was divine, probably some of the best I’ve ever had. A thick, creamy nutty curry with tender pieces of chicken. It’s pleasantly spiced (though it’s not spicy) and filling, honestly I’m already looking forward to going back for my next meal. We also had the tandoori salmon (mild spiciness) and the karaikudi lamb. Everything was well seasoned and well cooked. Here’s a snapshot of our spread. For the amount of food that we ate, the prices were extremely reasonable. For 3 people we got 2 apps, 2 drinks, 3 entrees and the assorted bread basket, we spent $60/person. This is easily the kind of place where you can sit and get lost in conversation. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant, even the temperature inside was perfect, not too cold, not too warm. The staff was attentive and helpful, our server was knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and even offered a recommendation for our next visit. Overall I am more than satisfied with my meal here and I’m already counting down the days till I go back for more."
