At the Welcome Center, you can pick up brochures, maps, and admissions information, as well as discover interesting university trivia and receive recommendations for the best local dining and shopping spots. Whether you're a prospective student, a visiting family member, or a curious traveler, our knowledgeable staff is here to ensure your FGCU experience is both informative and enjoyable.

Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on all university holidays, the Margaret S. Sugden Welcome Center is a proud member of the Collegiate Information and Visitor Services Association. This affiliation highlights our commitment to providing outstanding service to all our visitors.

The Welcome Center stands as a testament to the generosity of Herb and Peg Sugden, whose contributions have significantly shaped our campus. Their initial gift in 2001 made this facility possible, and their subsequent donations have continued to enhance FGCU's offerings, including the establishment of the Resort and Hospitality Management degree program housed in Herbert J. Sugden Hall.
